Helping hands

Cisco PTO continues to help teachers and students by giving a helping hand.

*Rebecca Collier is taking care of the bake sales this year.  She is always looking for volunteers to help with these fundraising events.

*April Hearne is our teacher appreciation leader. With the help of many volunteers, she helps remind parents and the community to make a conscious effort to let our educators know how much we appreciate them. We provide food at teacher's meetings, give special gifts throughout the year, and give the teachers a special day with an extended lunch.

*Jennifer Hillis is kindly taking care of rounding up sponsors to take care of some of the funding for our projects this year.

*Jill Field has generously taken out of her time to organize the membership portion of the PTO.  This helps to fund our many commitments we have through out the year.

*Kathy Conring the school counselor is the PTO program organizer.  She puts together the programs and coordinates volunteers to work on the special scenery and props.

*Jody Francis helps assist Mrs. Conring with the PTO snacks.  She gets together snacks for those stressful testing days.  The students get this snack during their testing break which is one of the reasons that Cisco Elementary is "Exemplary."

*Angie Sylva is also taking on a new endeavor for the PTO this year by seeing that every new parent or guardian is informed about the PTO and given vital information about our organization.

*PTO tries to help teachers out by organizing parties. Jennifer Gray is our Room Mother leader. She has the task of coordinating the three yearly parties.

*With the help of Mrs. Lane and Jana Stegemoller,  Cisco Elementary librarians, Suzette White heads up our two book fairs. These book fairs help the elementary library by providing funds to help enhance the current library. With the help of many volunteers, we just completed one book fair in November and will be hosting another in the spring.

*To keep the public and the parents informed, we have Amy Dodson our Reporter. Amy gives the paper information pertaining to news and events about our PTO and some of the happenings at Cisco Elementary. Amy has also taken on the task of the new “Lobo Howler”.  This bulletin is filled with news and events about our school, educators, and community.

*PTO couldn’t keep track of all the funds raised or help we give out without our Treasurer Dena Pevey. She is a real asset to the PTO and it's pocket book.

*Our PTO Vice President, Angie Sylva, assists the other members of the PTO and the PTO President Regina Krieg.

Without the working effort of every PTO officer, Principal Darleen Hearne, Assistant Principal Sharon Wilcoxen, Mrs. Harrell, the many volunteers, and educators, the PTO would not have the success it has had this year. It is truly a combined effort and every individual is greatly appreciated.

A Special Thanks!!!
