| I've been teaching for 15 years, the last 10 years have been in Second Grade. I love teaching and I especially love teaching Second Grade. I grew up around the Abilene area and graduated from Wylie High School. Then I attended Hardin Simmons University where I had the privilege of being one of the Six White Horse riders. I come from a long line of educators. My grandmother, Loys Allmand, taught first grade in Eastland for several years and later became the principal there. My mom taught second grade in Wylie and later she was a Diagnostician & Special Education Counselor for Abilene ISD. They've since retired and are a great source of information and support for me. I live here in Cisco with my husband, Tim and our miniature schnauzer "Spiffy". I'm looking forward to a great school year. | |||||||
