By Amber Loftin-Green

¡Bienvenidos!

Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year! My name is Amber Green and I am the newest member of the Spanish department here at Cisco High School. Though I am a new face around campus, I am not new to teaching. This year marks my tenth year in the Spanish classroom.

Second Period 8:50 to 9:35 Spanish 2

Third Period  9:40 to 10:25 Conference Period

Fourth Period 10:30 to 11:15 Spanish 2

Fifth Period 11:20 to 12: 05 Spanish 3 (DL Lab)

Sixth Period  1:05 to 1:50  Spanish 1 (DL Lab)

Seventh Period 1:55 to 2:40  Spanish 2 (DL Lab)

Eighth Period 2:45 to 3:30  Spanish 2

Subjects
I will be teaching sections of Spanish 1, Spanish 2, and Spanish 3, so I will have the opportunity to work with some of the beginners new to the language as well as some of the advanced speakers. I also am looking forward to exploring the world of distance learning education with some of you as I broadcast some of my classes to Trent.

I hope that our study of the language is interesting, challenging and worlds of fun.

Biographical Information
Originally I am from Wink, Texas. I graduated from Wink High School and earned my Bachelors Degree from Tarleton State University where I met my husband. We lived in the Texas Hill Country for the first four years of our marriage, then moved to Central Texas in 2006 to be near family. I have 2 beautiful children who are the blessings of my life and love living near both my parents and my in-laws so they can grow up surrounded by love and family. I am currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Leadership of Learning from Abilene Christian University and living on a ranch near Cross Cut, Texas, and I am proud to be a lobo!
¡Disfruta el viaje!
